Official Press Release

ARMS Reliability was proud to host some of the top reliability, maintenance, and root cause analysis professionals in Austin, Texas during our annual Reliability Summit this past May. The Reliability Summit has been held in various cities throughout the world since 1994. It has become a premier event focused on building high-performing reliability programs by leveraging essential tools and cultivating reliability knowledge. The event brings together practitioners from all over the globe to engage, network and share their industry experiences and insights. This year the event took place at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Austin, TX from the 8th - 11th of May. Over the course of 4 days, delegates from over 25 companies took part in skills-based workshops, industry expert presentations, and social/networking activities. The prevailing theme of the event was common maintenance and reliability challenges- solved. The workshops, most new to this year, were developed with that theme in mind, featuring training on topics such as: Root Cause Analysis, Intro to Reliability, Managing Reliability Centered Maintenance, Reliability Quick-Wins and Change Management, Advanced RCA, Reliability for Design, and Conducting a Reliability Maturity Assessment. Presentations by clients and partners included a variety of subjects and case studies on reliability journeys and paths toward continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and change management. Attendees heard from companies such as Boeing, Raytheon, Applied Materials, CNS Y-12 and more, and sat in keynote presentations from ARMS CEO, Jason Apps, and ReliabilityWeb’s CAM, Terrence O’Hanlon. The event also featured, for the first time ever, an Asset Strategy Management (ASM) Leadership Exchange. Leaders of the ASM community and clients of Asset Strategy Management software OnePM gathered at the Summit in a special forum to present ASM case studies, applications and best practices of OnePM, and further the community of Asset Strategy Management. Attendees represented companies such as: BP, Portland General Electric, MMG, Enmax Energy, Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal, Olin and more. Jason Apps, ARMS CEO stated “The feedback from the attendees of the first annual ASM Leadership Exchange was outstanding, with all representatives eager to support the growth of the ASM network and continue the collaboration throughout the year before regrouping at 2019’s event. I have no doubt the we made great strides in the formation of the ASM network this year and we look forward to supporting the expansion of that network through next year.” We look forward to continuing our mission of enriching careers and deepening the connections among the reliability and maintenance community and look forward to seeing the majority of attendees who indicated that they plan to attend future Reliability Summit events. Stay up to date on the return of the Reliability Summit March 26-29th, 2019 in Austin, Texas.
